Laura Simon

Laura Simon is a dedicated trial attorney at Vanguard Attorneys, where she brings an exceptional depth of experience in litigation, public service, and insurance to every case she handles. With a career rooted in fighting for justice, she is relentless in her pursuit of maximum recovery for those injured due to the negligence of others.

Ms. Simon began her legal career in public service, earning the William F. Blews Pro Bono Service Award and gaining invaluable experience through internships with government agencies, including the United States Attorney’s Office in Washington, D.C. She went on to serve as an Assistant Public Defender in Fredericksburg, Virginia, and later in Florida’s Sixth Judicial Circuit, where she built a reputation as a formidable trial attorney. She continued her public service as an Assistant State Attorney in Hillsborough County, where she prosecuted those who caused harm to others and safeguarded victims’ rights in and out of the courtroom.

Her extensive background also includes years of experience as a defense attorney at a respected insurance defense firm. This experience provides her with a unique advantage—she understands how insurance companies operate and uses that knowledge to fight for her clients, ensuring they are not taken advantage of during the claims process.

Ms. Simon is admitted to practice in Florida and Virginia, as well as the United States District Courts for the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Florida.
